If you have come here looking for info on the best slr camera, it is my job to help you clear the air and make a good decision. You will find that slr camera’s are broken into several categories.
Budget: Cheaper cameras that cost less than $500. They lack a lot of the features of better cameras but still take good photos, probably best for entry level people or just beginners in general.

Pro-sumer (SEMI PRO): Here the prices Jump a lot. At these higher levels the cost for a camera can be from $1,000 and $3,000 and the feature levels and abilities of the camera go way up. Most people will not need this level of camera. It would be overkill when shooting juniors birthday party.
I will not be rating any Professional cameras here because they are too much for general use for most people.
